Merima Dizdarević is a writer and artist based in Malmö, Sweden. Born in Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 1983. Her practice is multidisciplinary and multilingual, encompassing poetry, essayistic criticism, translation, performance, acting and other disciplines.
Her 2022 debut collection, far from the eye far from the heart, published by Albert Bonniers Förlag, was lauded by major Swedish critics. She is the recipient of several grants, stipends and artist residencies.
